joy "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against these things there is no law." - Galatians 5:22-23 Joy. Such a short word, yet it means so much. Ever wondered what it means to have joy... for always? To be happy, estatically happy! That is how we should live each day of our lives! Happy, knowing that salvation is here. That with God, through Christ, we have been redeemed. The psalmist has said: "My lips will shout for joy when I praise you - I, whom you have redeemed" Hymns have also put us into perspective - Joy to the world, the Lord is come; Joyful joyful we adore thee. This is how we should embrace the Lord, to embrace the good news. To embrace His love. with joy in our hearts and lives always! to always remember, that no matter what the circumstance, joy can always reside in us, because the Lord has control over it all when you give it up to Him. And because we are His, His Spirit dwells in our bodies, as we are His temples. With love comes joy, and we will be able to be joyful always, because we love. Let everyone see, and know, the reason joy is in your heart. Let's be joyful, for the Lord our God is with us, and in us! Come let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout for aloud to the Rock of our salvation - Psalm 95:1 |
