back to basics "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" - John 3:16 We've heard this verse so many times, does it register anymore? I sure hope it does, coz this is the basis of it all. God loved us, but we sinned against Him and bridged ourselves away from Him. He sent His only son Jesus Christ, the perfect lamb, the sacrifice for our sins, to die on the cross, to pay the price of it all. Its His blood that cleanses us. He was the very last sacrifice. all out of love. It didnt just end there. On the third day, He rose again. Defeating even death. Now we have nothing to fear, because Christ was and is everything He said He is and He will be. While we wait for Him, we can only stand in awe, at the love of it all. Its not just about living a moral life in your sight. Its about who you believe in, its all about Him. Its always nice to, once in a while, look at yourself and find out where you stand. So.. Just how far are you from the basics? |
