Men must not judge but repent Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blod Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. Jesus answered, "Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. Or those eighteen who died when the tower of Siloam fell on them - do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish." - Luke 12:1-5 "But unless you repent, you too will all perish." This phrase was stuck in my head this morning after reading it because the topic of judgement has been popping up a few days, and indeed, it is a good followup from the previous post, because it teaches you the path you should take when you realise you still have value in God's eyes no matter what state you are in. Truely, God speaks through His word!! |
