Are you worth the price? Having been fed up of cheap shoes that cause blisters and are constantly uncomfortable, I recently decided to splash out on a very expensive pair of ordinary looking, but seemingly comfortable pair of shoes, in the hope that my feet would be spared of further trauma. However, 2-3 weeks into wearing these new pair of shoes, I am still half limping at times, as it has proven not to be as comfortable as I thought the price I'd paid for it would make it... It reminds me a little of the relationship between God and us. God sent His only son, Jesus Christ, and bought us at a very expensive price. Yet, like my pair of shoes, we've been hard at heart, and resistant to any change. He paid that high price, but we've not proven ourselves worthy of what has been paid. With our constant whining and disbelief, have we shown that we really grateful for what He has done for us on that cross? Have a think, Are you worth the price?
